Dr. Asinech Hellan-Pangelinan is a Chuukese optometrist who runs a private practice, Hellan EyeCare LLC, in Arizona. Born and raised in Chuuk, FSM, Dr. Hellan-Pangelinan graduated from Saramen Chuuk Academy (SCA) before heading to the National Campus of the College of Micronesia -FSM where she completed an an Associate of Science degree in Health. She went on to Grand Canyon University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Biology with a minor in Health Education. She continued her education at Nova Southeastern University, College of Optometry where she earned an Optometric Doctor (O.D.) degree. After earning her doctorate, she worked as an optometrist for Vision Care of Arizona for almost 8 years before starting her own company, Hellan EyeCare, LLC for 2 years now.
